Madison’s POV

“What?” I exclaimed doubtfully in a murmur.

Mendy rushed out of my inner chamber, cradling the purple dress in her grasp.

Yet, the beautiful dress was now tattered, a large part was missing, and the other parts seemed to have been torn forcefully.

My lips quivered, and my face became pale in shock, “H…How could this happen?”

Mendy’s eyes had already welled with tears as she cried, “My lady, what are we going to do now? This is the only suitable dress for the banquet in your wardrobe. Moreover, the Alpha got it for you, how would it feel if he found out that it was ruined?”

I clenched my palm into fists, my brain running wild as I thought of alternatives I could resort to. But nothing came to mind.

Who could have done something so vile?

Now, what was I going to wear for the banquet?

As we were panicking, a male voice echoed from the door, “My lady, the banquet has started. The Alpha has called for you.”
