Chapter 73. Explanation
Raymond’s POV
Jealousy gripped my heart tightly, wrapping and squeezing like a vine.
Madison had only started going to the institution the day before, and she was already making male friends. I knew that there was nothing wrong with that, since I had wished for Madison to be more free.
But when I saw her pat the young man’s shoulder and how they both exchanged glances with a smile, I almost lost control of my jealousy.
I almost could not resist the urge to rush over and take her away from the man.
Even after the young man left, Madison stood still, staring at the man’s back view as if she were reluctant to watch him leave.
All these fueled my anger and jealousy even more.
Moreover, they had gone out, alone. I was sure the master duo would not send them on an errand together, and that meant that they had mutually agreed to go out together.
