Madison’s POV

After giving Raymond a random excuse, I quickly made my way to Arthur’s room.

If I wanted to find anything out, the first thing I would have to do would be to search his chambers. However, I needed to confirm whether he was in or not.

Fortunately, it was already late, making things easier for me.

With a racing pulse, I walked forward and finally saw a maid coming over.

“Have you seen Arthur?” I asked her gently, feigning a look of anxiety. “I need to tell him something important.”

The maid thought about it before shaking her head, “I’m afraid not, my lady. Sir Arthur went out not quite long, and as usual, he would not come back home until dawn.”

I paused, “Really? Are you sure about that?”

“Yes. That is his routine.” She replied, and I heaved a sigh of relief.
