My ear buzzed, and I held my hurting cheek with one hand before lowering my head.

After staying with Raymond for so long, I had already forgotten what it meant to serve others. And now that I had to do it again, I found it difficult to adjust.

“Are you deaf? What are you meant to do now?” Luna Vee questioned angrily, raising her hand as though to slap me once again.

I opened my mouth and apologized even though I knew that it might not work, “I apologize. I won’t repeat the same mistake.”

Luna Vee scoffed lightly, “Of course you won’t, not when I am done giving you a punishment you will never forget.”

I knew it, someone like her would not give in just because of an apology.

“You will clean the whole mansion, and also cook dinner for the Alpha and me, alone. If I see that you made someone else help you, I will make sure you regret it.” She threatened, and I gritted my teeth.
