Chapter 86. Investigation

Raymond’s POV

“Be careful!” Arthur called out, but I reacted too late and received a deep, gash wound on my left arm.

My hand trembled, and the pain made me furrow my brows slightly.

The rogues attacked even more fervently, making it difficult for me to defend against their attacks, especially after getting injured.

But I knew we only needed to hold on until Alec arrives with the warriors. Hopefully, he would be able to arrive in time.
