Chapter 93. Ruined
Raymond’s POV
Some of the rogues who remained alive were also taken together with Arthur and placed in the dungeons. I took the rogues for investigation, but they all knew nothing.
They were just following orders, so they could not give any useful information.
After some deliberation, I decided to take Arthur into the interrogation chamber for questioning.
“Why did you do it?” I asked him.
Arthur had been tied to a chair, and I was seated opposite him.
The interrogation chamber was just like an empty room, with no decorations or anything special. Just a rocky wall, and a high ceiling.
Arthur let out a smug smile, “You were not expecting it, were you? The feeling of getting betrayed by a close friend, do you finally see what it feels like?” He asked in a mocking tone, and I stared at him without any expression.
“Why did you do it?” I asked once again, completely unfazed by his mockery.
