Chapter 4. Kissing My Bully
We both downed our shots. All the other professors cheered. We both had about four shots in total before Austin was ready to give in. We pulled up chairs to the largest table in the room and put a wine bottle in the middle.
“Here we go!” Everyone cheered. Hammond, Austin, and I were the only men playing the game. It was one of the largest groups I have ever played with, and not all the women were taking part.
“Why do we have so many art professors?” I asked with a slight slur.
“Three of the women are history professors,” Hammond answered. “Two are technically art history professors, three are art professors, and four are English professors,” he accounted for everyone in the room. “We only have four male professors in our humanities department.”
“Good on you, lovely women, for breaking through to what used to be a male-dominated profession!” I cheered. They cheered with me.
