Myles POV
The night was cold, and the wind slapped against my face as I rode with Ajax and the others. Engines roared behind me, steady and strong, a dozen bikes moving as one.
I could feel the weight of every headlight burning a path through the dark, like we were cutting across the night itself. My arm still stung where that bullet had grazed me earlier, but I didn’t let it slow me down. Not now.
We were heading straight for Knox. Straight for the bastards who had turned on me. I knew they were waiting. Hell, they probably knew I was on my way before I even made up my mind to come. That didn’t matter. What mattered was Serena. And if Knox had her, then I was done hiding.
Ajax pulled up closer to me, his bike purring like a beast.
“Boss,” he shouted over the roar of engines, “you really think they’ll talk?”
I kept my eyes on the road ahead. “They’ll talk,” I said. “Whether they want to or not.”
