Myles POV

The alarms were still blaring all over the place in the presence of the police. How could this have happened? I had let my guard down for a fraction of a second, and then this had happened.

Okay, maybe I didn’t really let my guard down that way. I had most of the gang in attendance that day, and Knox had been in charge of security for the occasion to prevent exactly what happened. Why did this happen under his guard? Perhaps the old man was getting old and sloppy after all.
