Chapter 151. Cheers

Issahil's POV

We clapped enthusiastically, our cheers blending with the applause and cheers of the other audiences that filled the theater.

After the curtain call, we made our way to the theater's exit, to congratulate Freya in person. We found her in the lobby, surrounded by some other well-wishers and fellow actors. When she saw us, her face lit up and she literally came running to us.

“You were amazing, Freya!” I exclaimed, pulling her into a tight hug and Nica joined in. The three of us giggled, lingering in each other's embrace. 

“I am really glad you could make it, thank you!” Freya said to Nica and I, and then, we broke apart from each other. 

Carlos approached, embracing her. “Proud of you,” he said and she gave him a grin, releasing herself from his embrace.

Freya's eyes darted to the other unfamiliar yet not too unfamiliar faces with us.
