Chapter 152. The Ring

Issahil's POV

Two weeks later...

“Matt!” I yelled at the top of my voice as I rushed towards Alpha Matthias, throwing myself into his arms when I reached him. He caught me, chuckling and spun me around. 

I'd been in my room when I had caught a whiff of his familiar scent and came rushing out.

“Someone missed me a lot,” he mumbled, a teasing smile on his face, his one hand caressing my face. I was on his body, clung onto him like a koala with my legs firmly wrapped around his waist and my arms wrapped around his neck.

“Oh you have no idea!” I admitted shamelessly. 

“Well, I missed you more,” he said and kissed me and damn, I kissed him back hard.

It was the sudden clearing of a throat that made us pull away from each other. Turning my head and seeing my father, I jumped down from Alpha Matthias body, giggling.
