Chapter 21. 360 Degrees Turn

[Flashback continues]

And then came the day of the mating ball. I was so excited. 

Alpha Logan came to my room as soon as he returned home after leaving that morning with his beta to take care of some of the pack's affairs. It was the early hours of the evening. 

“Hey,” he said as he approached me where I was sitting reading a book.

I put away the book and turned to him with a smile. “Alpha.  You are back.”

He reached me and placed both of his hands on the seat, pinning me and bending towards me. I giggled and reached out to poke at his nose.

I had gotten more brave touching him randomly and without his consent and he had never complained about it. On the contrary, he seemed to like it.

“What have you been up to, tell me?” He asked, and then leaned his face towards my neck, burying it on my nape.
