My thoughts were interrupted by Michelle clearing her throat loudly to get our attention and snapping me out of my trance.

"Look, Michelle, I honestly don't know what you are talking about or getting at. Since Luke and I broke up, I have not gotten in touch with him... so if he's missing, I don't know where he is," I explained as calmly as I could, although I was slightly angered.
