After standing in front of the face basin for an uncomfortable amount of time, trying to convince myself that everything is fine and I am not afraid, I realized…
"I can't do it," I blurted out, feeling nervous and overwhelmed.
It was risky. I didn't want Levi to meet Luke like this... he didn't deserve to learn about my past from an uncomfortable situation and in such a state.
I could imagine what a shock he was going to feel when he found out about my history in a public place, instead of hearing it from me.
Sighing, I ran a hand through my hair and looked at the mirror, deciding that I would tell Levi personally, everything that I haven't shared with him yet, especially my past relationship with Luke, which he had yet to find out about.
But first I needed to go home to avoid the drama and also because I didn't have the courage nor the energy to go back in there and face Luke.
