Chapter 24
When my eyelid rose, the first thing that tortured my mind was that Levi was in my bed, at my apartment, and today, we are supposed to go and visit his family.
Swaying my gaze toward his face, I frowned, annoyed that he could sleep so soundly while I have been having sleepless nights because of him this week, since the day Michelle came to his office and said all these things that I still couldn't understand.
Suddenly, Levi raised his lashes, and I gazed silently into his eyes. Then he drew toward my lips and lightly kissed me before mumbling, "Good morning."
Even though I was annoyed and frustrated that I haven't had this entire Luke disappearance situation figured out yet, I couldn't help smiling when he grinned at me.
"Morning," I whispered, stroking his cheek.
Then I pulled away from his arm and sat up in bed, resting my feet on the cold tiles.
As I was about to stand on my feet, Levi hugged me from the back,
