Chapter 25
The air felt cold as I stood outside and hugged my body tightly to stop myself from shaking, which wasn't because of the cold, but because I was afraid of what I was doing.
I know this was wrong, meeting Luke behind Levi's back, but yesterday evening, he sounded like he might hurt himself or do worse.
Raising my hand to the door, I knocked three times before I let out a breath I had been holding in my lungs. Then, taking a step back, I waited.
When the door opened, I scowled at Luke, pushed past him, and walked inside, heading to the living room of the secret apartment he bought for us when we were together.
This house used to be filled with memories of us... The moments of laughter, tears, happiness, sorrow, arguments, fights, kisses, everything that made up our relationship.
And now, it was just a mere shadow of loneliness and memories left behind. Honestly, I didn't feel attached to it anymore like I once did.
