Mo’s Pov:
As I walked around the pack towards the forest where I would get some leaves, I wondered why I felt incomplete.
Things were back to normal and everyone went about their normal activities but there was stillness in the air.
Whatever it was I could not place my hands on it but I felt the uneasiness overwhelm my being. I tried to wave it off.
“Mo,” I heard a tiny giggle and turned round to see a small boy of about five years of age waving at me.
“Hello little one, how are you?” I smiled waving back at him.
“Where are you going?” he asked.
“I am going to get some herbs. How about you? What are you doing there?”
“I am waiting for my mum, she went to get something over there,” he pointed his little fingers towards a direction. “I have a small cut on my hand from playing with the knife mum warned me to put away, will you treat it for me?” He asked innocently and I chuckled.
