Jason’s Pov:

I put on my clothes slowly, wondering what the council of members wanted to discuss. They had requested for a meeting. Now I understood how Dominick felt whenever he was coming to the council meetings.

I could not help pondering. I walked into the courtroom and there were a few members seated there already. They were talking in low tunes and when I entered, murmured a greeting. I nodded and took my seat opposite Kim.

Our eyes met and he looked away, raising his nose high in the air. I scoffed. What was it with him anyway?
