I watch as Jackson looks at his phone, reading something, his fingers tapping on the table. Everyone is looking at the business plan I had put together.

“All I need is to know the exact amount you think will be needed upfront. While there ARE figures there, we need overhang, so if something unexpected happens, it is there waiting, without her having to wait.” Jackson stops everyone from discussing the business. Apparently, he doesn’t care what they think. He just wants to get it over and done with and make sure everything is set up. His whole stance has changed again.
