Chapter 67
“Where are my princesses? What is all that screaming?” His voice is so funny. Climbing out of bed, getting showered and dressed as fast as I can, I walk downstairs, grabbing a drink.
“Breakfast Kitten.” He places the plate in front of me. My hand pushes it back. I feel sick, nervous sick, at the thought of meeting my Mum today.
“No, thank you, I don’t think I can stomach food today. I am meeting my Sarah at twelve.”
He looks at me, shocked. “Okay, either me or Marcus are going with you. You’re not going alone. You wouldn’t know how to check if your car has been tampered with.” As much as I want to object, he has a point. I could spend a year looking at a car and not realise there are problems.
