By this time, they were sitting diagonally to each other, and the lady had first broken the silence.
“Feel at home,” she said, “I’m waiting for the right time to get you out of this territory without anyone knowing.” She added.
“Did I hear you say I should feel at home? How?” He asked, locking his gaze with hers.
“How can I feel at home when I don’t even know the person I am speaking to, how I got myself here, and your intention for doing that? Who knows what you’re cooking in your mind?” He criticized, sounding uneasy.
“So many questions you’ve been dodging to answer!”
“Ehm...” She cleared her throat. “I’m Anya, the crowned princess of this den. I witnessed all that happened between you and my guard; I was there when he caught you breaching our territory. You would’ve been dead had I not interfered when he took you to the Queen’s palace unconsciously.” She gulped down a glass of cold water, wiped the tip of her lips with tissue paper, and continued.
