Chapter 107

Sarah was done with the mashed potatoes and had some of the cake on a plate right in front of her already. 

Both of them were startled a bit when they saw Kie and a man enter the dining area. Clary instantly felt the urge to submit to the man and she could not explain why. 

She internally felt like he was someone powerful and the need to respect him was strong. 

Sarah felt it too. She felt a very strong urge to submit to the man that had appeared with Kie. Also, the build of the man was familiar even though his face was covered. 

“Uh, hi,” Aiden said, trying to make his voice sound a bit different. He placed the pitcher of juice on the table and helped his wife put hers down. 

“So this is my husband, his name is Matt,” She lied smoothly. There was no way that she was going to tell them his real name, it would be too risky. 

“Nice to meet you, Matt,” Clary said in a soft tone, flashing the man a small yet curious smile.
