“I killed him. There was not much of a fight, but I think that he’s dead,” Clary joined the conversation again, replying to Levi. 

“You think?” Selena scoffed the words out. “You think that you killed the mass murderer that wiped out a dozen packs, including the pack of Levi? You think?”

“Selena,” Ace tried to get his wife to drop it. Then he turned his attention back to Clary. “What exactly happened? How did the hybrid die?” 

“The sun is cleared up, right?” Clary avoided answering the question. “When I say he’s dead, that means he’s dead. So you all either trust me or not.” 

Selena was ready to reply to the omega but Mr. Clark stopped her. 

“Okay, Clary. Here’s what we’re going to do, we’re going to trust you, but we would still need to know exactly what happened so you would write up a written statement and not leave out any details, concerning your battle with Star.” 

“That’s all?” Selena was fast to add her voice to the mix.<
