Chapter 12

Besides the difficulty in getting my mother to trust me while I was in the body of the only daughter of the man who rained hell on our pack, I also had to find a way to break her out of there without raising any suspicions. 

My mission had now gotten a bit more complicated and harder. 

The omega was the first to walk out of the dungeon, followed by me. “So all we have to do is close the door and the padlock would activate again?” I asked her.

“Yeah, that’s how it works. And you should know that.” She let out a small chuckle. 

“Yeah, right.” I closed the door once we were out and I heard a long beep, signaling that the door was now locked again. 

I then followed the omega up the old and weary stairs until we came back to the ground level. “Thank you for giving me this tour. Even though I have lived here all my life and it was not needed.” I smiled warmly at her. 

“You’re welcome, my lady. And it’s not like I have much of a choice.
