And the guards also had torch lights with them. 

“Don’t pretend like you don’t know me…” The eerie voice sounded again, and this time it was clear as day. 

I sat up immediately and grabbed a towel from the heated rack, wrapping it around my body and stepping out of the bathtub. “Who the hell are you?” I raised my voice and searched around visually for something to use as a weapon to defend myself if I had to. 

“I’m Eretria, your wolf,” The voice growled, and my eyes widened. 

I did not know how to respond to that. This was the first time that my wolf had spoken since I was reincarnated. I exhaled deeply and racked my brain for a response. “Why are you only just speaking now?” 

I waited for a response with bated breath but heard nothing. This was my wolf, so why was I afraid of her? Maybe because I could feel it deep within me, and I could feel the overpowering rage and anger that it felt.
