Chapter 74

Ignoring the Moon goddess was at first could be done because I could just push her voice at the back of my mind with all the other voices and thoughts in my head. But now, it was harder than ever. 

“Belle…” I cleared my throat. 

“Oh, don’t tell my mom about that. She definitely does not know that I dated someone from your pack. She would go berserks if she finds out. Not because she hates your pack but because of what happened in her life.”

“Yeah…” I dragged the word as understanding dawned on me. I knew what she was trying to get at. “Your mom fell in love with your dad and he was from another pack. Their relationship is complicated and she blames it on the fact that she did not find love in her own pack. Am I hitting the nail on the head?” 

Belle gave me a small smile as a look of mild confusion smeared her face. “Yeah, but how did you know that? I mean, yeah. Anyone could put that together but you got that so perfectly that it scares me.” She laugh
