Chapter 88

Sam was nice enough to lend us one of his cars. I don’t think it would have been comfortable if my mom, Jade, and I would have used the motorcycle to go over to his mom’s place. I believe that it’s an hour or two drive. 

Jade was driving and my mom and I were in the backseat. We had spent half an hour on the road and I had already explained almost everything that happened when I was away; about the Moon goddess, Billy and his family, and Greenleaf. 

They were wowed by my experience and my mom was smiling ear to ear when she found out that I had healed Billy’s daughter and the love of his life. 

“Come here. I’m so proud of you,” She gushed as she pulled me in for a hug. “This makes me so happy.” She sniffled dryly and then planted a kiss on my head. 

“Maybe sometime, we could visit Greenleaf?” Jade said in a soft tone, and I chuckled. 

When I looked at my mom, I saw her facial expression change drastically after hearing what Jade said.
