Chapter 118

After I had told my parents and Tessa about my being pregnant, they were pleasantly surprised. My mom asked me so many questions and kept touching my belly, while my dad started taking pictures of me.

It all seemed funny to me, but appreciation filled my heart. I was blessed to have my parents with me during such a time like this. It made me feel supported and privileged.

As for Tessa, the first question she asked me was who was the father. I could not help but laugh. From the way I had told her about Zayn, it was as if I was a fangirl. And maybe I was.

They had begged me so that they could throw a party for me, and as much as I wanted not to do so and make this something huge, I accepted their kind gesture anyway. 

The party was really nice. It was bigger than I expected and as much as I wanted Zoe to be there, her doctors said that she still needed time to adjust to her new medication. We made sure to visit her every time we got.
