“Oh, please,” Lola said in response and then rolled her eyes. She was now right in front of the omega. She played with the tips of her hair and then ran her eyes over Clary. “My brother may think that he likes you but the truth is that he’s just attached, he would soon find some other gutter trash to get obsessed about soon.”
Clary inhaled sharply. She hated that she was called that disrespectful name. It bothered her deeply. “Please, please, please. Do not call me that. I am not gutter trash.”
