Chapter 55

Clary took a few seconds to take in the information that Selena had given her. She was confused as to why the Luna wanted to meet her, and alone. 

It reminded her of a few days ago when she was taken on the road with Gus and Selena, with the guise that they were going to the clinic when in fact it was for another purpose. 

She remembered how she had gotten so drenched by the rain to the point that she thought that she was going to get sick, or at least get a cold. But she did not. She was completely fine. 

“Why though?” Clary asked bravely. She was pregnant and knew that Selena was not happy about that. What if the Luna tried to do something to hurt her, but mainly, the child?  “Why shouldn’t I tell Levi.”
