Chapter 60

Clary was free! She could not help but chuckle happily and in relief even though her shoulders were hurting and she was still on the floor. She proceeded to stand to her feet, touching her aching shoulder gently. 

The pain there was evident, but she knew that she had to focus on only one thing at that moment: escaping! 

She was now on her feet, she looked around and saw she was in a hallway. She did not know which way to go but she knew that she did not have much time. She decided to take the way to the right. 

If she ended up somewhere that she did not want to be, she had made up her mind that she would just go back from whence she came and take the other direction. 

As she walked down the hall, her heart began to thump in her chest. She had to be fast and smart because the possibility of her being caught was high. 

She really needed to get out of the cabin, her life and the life of her child were in danger. 

When she reach
