Chapter 56

She needed to mentally prepare herself, so she asked, “How long till we reach where we’re going?”  

Frank chuckled lightly and replied to her, “About um, twelve minutes.” After a few more seconds, he added, “Don’t worry, I would get you there.”

Clary scoffed lightly. She was a bit amused that Frank did not even have a hint on how she did not want to be heading in the location they were going. “Mm-hmm.” 

After fifteen minutes, the car finally came to a stop. Frank had not calculated well, it took rather fifteen minutes than twelve. He parked the car next to the abandoned road in the woods and turned off the engine. 

He felt a bit suspicious as to why the omega wanted to be brought there. There was nobody there. They were literally alone. There were barely street lights this deep into the woods area, literally only one per block, causing the light available to be less. 

It was the light from the car that helped them to see a bit clearer.
