Chapter 63

Her eyes soon adjusted to the room and the first thing that she noticed was that it was now night. The moonlight beamed brightly from the window and a cool breeze swirled in the room. 

The room was empty and Clary was alone. She also noticed that she was not chained and tied like before. She was free to walk around the room. She smelled something really good so she used her eyes to scan the room for it. 

It was food! And it was on the table not too far from her. She was starving so she tried her best to stand on her feet. It was not easy, her shoulder was aching and the pain in her lower stomach was growing slowly. 

When she finally stood to her feet. She started to cough dryly and that was when she noticed the blood on her pants. Hse gasped when she saw it and her heart dropped. She was reminded about what had happened.
