Chapter 64

Clary paced the room slowly as she tried to take in all the information she had just been fed by the Moon goddess. First of all, she could not believe that the Moon goddess had actually spoken to her! 

Who was she to have such an encounter? She felt beyond lucky, she felt blessed! 

Secondly, Clary felt like she could finally breathe again. For once, she felt like her life was not cursed. She felt hope fill her lungs, giving her the strength she needed to keep keeping on. 

She felt sad that she had lost her child but at the same time was grateful that her other child had survived. She could not believe that she even had another child. 

“Remember to keep the baby a secret, Clary,” The Moon goddess said, her voice softer than silk. 

Clary stood by her mattress and replied, “Yes, of course.” She chuckled faintly in happiness. “Um, before you go, when will I hear from you again? I have so many questions.”
