Chapter 71

Clary nodded and a tear slipped out of her right eye. She quickly wiped it away and walked out of the room. Her heart felt heavy and her breathing was deep. 

When she walked out of the restaurant, she noticed that she had crunched up the paper that had the address to her mom’s place. She quickly tried to straighten it and she did but it still had some wrinkles. 

She looked around the parking area for the driver or the car and luckily for her, she saw him. She jogged towards him and handed the paper to him. “Please take me there. Please.” She entered the car and waited for him. 

The driver seemed taken aback but he had no problem taking her to the place of her desire. But he was concerned, he saw that her eyes were bloodshot and teary. He got in the car and entered the address into the GPS before starting the engine. 

The car roared to life smoothly and he pressed on the gas, driving them out of the parking area and towards the main road. T
