A few seconds later, the door to the room opened, and a doctor and nurse entered. The doctor immediately checked Celine's condition carefully, while Nicolas and Calvin stood behind her, waiting anxiously.  

"How is it, Doc?" Nicolas asked, his voice sounding tense.  

The doctor smiled slightly as he removed his stethoscope. "This is good news. Celine has passed the critical period. Although she is still unconscious, these signs show that her condition is improving. We will move her to the regular ward."  

"Really? Mommy will be okay?" asked Calvin with sparkling eyes.  

"Mommy is a strong woman, Calvin," replied the doctor, patting Calvin's small shoulder gently.  

Nicolas breathed a sigh of relief, gratitude evident on his face. "Thank you, Doctor."
