Briar’s POV
I was lost in thoughts as I and the kids mixed the batter for the pancakes just like in the past. They were happy that I was spending time with them.
It hurt my heart knowing I hadn’t fully been giving them my attention. With everything going on, all I normally think about is how to deal with the warlock, my dormant werewolf side, my siren trying to take over my mind and those petty guardians of the world.
I sighed. The siren had taken over mostly today. And the memories of who I am—
