Tiana, on the other hand, was reading a romance novel. She had already said that she could give me some recommendations. Reading was probably her life, as long as she had no other contacts and had to languish at home.
With the huge library, she at least had enough reading material. The room was huge. One shelf lined the other and they went almost to the ceiling. Tiana had a ladder for the upper shelves, otherwise you would never reach them.
With all the shelves in the middle of the room, you could mistake it for a labyrinth. Theoretically, the ideal place to hide from someone.
Finally, Tiana ended the silence by asking, "What was your life like?" This should be incredibly exciting for them. She finally learned things about the outside world. To fully immerse myself in the conversation, I closed the book. The vampire did the same and we turned to each other.
"Hmm. What exactly do you want to know?"
"Whatever you want to tell
