Logan’s POV

I stared at the phone again, my mind racing. What am I supposed to do with this? Where do I even start?

There was no contact list, no messages, no photos…nothing that could point me in the right direction. It was as if the phone had been deliberately wiped clean, leaving me with a hollow shell.

But why? And by whom?

I rubbed my temples, trying to piece together the puzzle. Dani wasn’t just some random employee. He was loyal, sharp, and resourceful. 

If he had been in trouble, he would have reached out. He wouldn’t have just disappeared without a word.

Unless he couldn’t.

The thought sent a chill down my spine. What if something had happened to him? What if someone had made sure he couldn’t reach out?

I shook my head, trying to push the dark thoughts away. Speculating wouldn’t get me anywhere. I needed answers, not more questions.
