Chapter 496

Logan’s POV

The question struck me suddenly, and I sat up straighter in my chair. He had vanished, seemingly without a trace, not long after Isabella moved in. 

I had assumed he left because he didn’t approve of my relationship with her. 

Dani had always been vocal about his suspicions regarding Isabella, and I figured he didn’t want to stick around to watch it unfold.

But why hadn’t I heard from him? Why hadn’t he called, texted, or even sent a single message? It wasn’t like him to disappear completely.

I rubbed my temples, trying to make sense of it all. Dani and I had been close…closer than brothers, even. 

He was the one person I could always count on, the one who always had my back. For him to just vanish like that...it didn’t add up.

Could he have been right?

The thought made my stomach churn. If Dani had been telling the truth, if Damien wasn’t really my son, then what did that mean?
