Maddie's POV

I didn’t know what to do anymore. My mind was racing, thoughts tumbling over each other in a chaotic mess as I watched Layla practically float around the house, humming to herself like she was living in some romantic dream.

How did this happen? How did she end up with him…Logan, of all people? My stomach twisted painfully at the thought, dread settling like a heavy stone in my gut. 

This wasn’t just bad; it was a complete disaster. Layla was falling for Logan, the same Logan who was nothing but trouble, the same Logan who… who was married. And she didn’t have a clue.

I needed to know for sure. I needed to see him with my own eyes, to be certain that Layla’s “Mr. Handsome” was the Logan I knew.
