Logan's POV

It was peaceful, just the two of us and the soft music playing in the background.

Layla was telling me about a movie she had watched with Maddie, doing her best to imitate the characters’ voices, and I couldn’t help but laugh. She was hilarious, her impressions spot-on.

“You should be an actress,” I teased, giving her a playful glance. 

“You’re too good at that.”

She rolled her eyes, laughing. “Oh please, I’m just a good storyteller.”

“Well, I’m impressed,” I admitted. “You definitely know how to keep my attention.”

She blushed again, shaking her head. “Stop flattering me, Logan.”

“I’m just being honest,” I replied, my voice low. 

“You’re pretty amazing, Layla.”

Her cheeks turned even pinker, and she looked away, a shy smile playing on her lips. I loved how easily I could make her blush. It made me want to keep doing it, just to see that adorable look on her face.
