Chapter 41
The next day, Jormun joined me for my lesson with Daring and then my lesson with Wolfsbane. He did not seem very concerned on the outside, but his refusal to leave my side all day told me that he was, in fact, worried about something.
“What should we do if he uses the teleportation magic on me again?” I asked as we sat down for dinner.
“Unfortunately, I need him to use it on you again so I can discern what kind of magic he is using,” Jormun confessed. “I will not be able to neutralize it if I do not know what it is,” he sighed.
“Okay,” I nodded my head. “I am surprised he did not use it again after last night,” I told Jormun as we ate. “I thought he would be driven mad knowing I spent the night with another.”
“You say that like you desire such a reaction from him,” Jormun commented.
“Hm?” I thought about it. “I cannot say that I do not…” I shrugged. “…perhaps that is just the result of the hold he still has on me.”
