“How does your being in heat affect anyone other than yourself?” I asked Killian as I watched him grit his teeth before me.

He glared at me, and I responded by glaring right back at him. I watched as the Alpha finally snapped.

“Please.” Killian fell to his knees before me. “I… hate being like this…” he began to beg. “…if I stay like this any longer, I will lose my mind…”

“Why can’t you just sleep with someone else if it is that big of an issue?” I asked him.

“I tried!” Killian revealed. I felt a twinge of jealousy shoot through me suddenly. “There are plenty of females in the pack that would love nothing more than to satisfy my urges… but I had to turn every one of them away because their scent, even just the sight of them, disgusts me…” Killian explained.
