Chapter 52

I returned to the penthouse without an issue and quickly changed out of my formal attire into something a bit more comfortable. I told Andra about how well the lunch had gone and could see she was relieved to hear that there were no problems during my time away from her.

“Oh, Daring requested you meet with him in the study upon your return,” she informed me.

“I thought our lessons were canceled for the day?” I questioned.

“It is not a lesson,” she shook her head. “He has something that pertains to your past life that he wishes to give to you.”

My ears perked up at the mention of my past life. “Does Jormun know about this?” I asked.

“Does he need to know?” Andra responded.

I nodded my head in an approving manner. “Well, it may not be what Daring claims, so perhaps we can wait to tell him until after we meet with the wolf,” I smiled.

Andra nodded her head in agreement. The two of us then made our way to the study to meet with Daring.
