Chapter 55

Lisa kept me on bed rest for the next two days. The pain I had been feeling slowly dissipated during that time, much to my relief. By the morning of the third day, I was sick of bed rest and ready to take on the world.

“Will I be going back on my normal schedule today?” I asked Andra after I was dressed for the day.

“No,” she shook her head at me. “You will be meeting with master, Daring, and Renard first thing this morning, though,” she informed me.

I sighed in annoyance. “I am sure the three of them are going to be quite a handful after not seeing me for the past two days,” I commented.

“Despite how they first appeared, it seems that they actually get along quite well,” Andra told me. “I do not think that this meeting will be as bad as you might think,” she reassured me.

“Hm? I wonder what they managed to bond over in my absence?” I questioned.
