Chapter 58

It was late into the night when I awoke in Daring’s bed. I yawned and rubbed my eyes as I sat up. Daring was knocked out beside me, a content expression on his sleeping face.

I smiled softly as I climbed out of his bed and got dressed. The wolf did not wake up as I left his room.

“Mistress?” Andra seemed surprised to see me exiting the room in the middle of the night.

“Show me to my room,” I commanded.

She nodded her head and led the way through the penthouse back to my bedroom. I sighed as I entered my room. I felt a familiar sensation filling me, or rather, the lack of anything filling me, as I sat down on my couch.

“Tsk.” I sucked my teeth as I became agitated.
