Chapter 63
The sunlight beamed through the large window of the hotel room early the next morning. I groggily rubbed my eyes as the bright light woke me up.
I yawned as I rolled over so I was no longer facing the window, burying my head into Killian’s chest as he remained asleep beside me. The familiar feeling of emptiness was already beginning to plague me. I sighed in frustration as I began to get out of bed.
“No,” Killian whined as he wrapped his arms around me and held me close to him.
“It is morning. We still have much to discuss,” I told him as I tried to worm my way out of his tight grasp.
He relented and let me go. I climbed out of bed and made my way to the bathroom.
“I am taking a shower. Order us breakfast,” I commanded.
Killian waved his hand at me as I grabbed my clothing and entered the bathroom.
