Chapter 58. The Savior

As Germaine opened the tome, the first thing she saw were images. They were not images so much as stick figures crudely drawn, but as her eyes zoned in on the figures, she felt her heart quicken considerably. There were three figures standing in different postures—a female, and two males. She stared at the female who had brown hair just like hers, but what drew her more, were her eyes. The stick figure had eyes in the exact replica of her's, light brown and oval-shaped.

She looked at the other two figures beside the female one, and her eyes widened. How was this possible? If she didn't know better, she would say this was an eerie drawing of herself, Storm, and Keratin.

She felt a presence beside her and looked up to see Ennie staring at her with something closely resembling awe. "It is you, my lady." She breathed out reverently. 

Germaine watched in rising confusion as the vampire slayer bowed before her. "Wh-what are you doing?"

She turned to look at th
