Chapter 13

The man apologized and immediately went upstairs. I didn't know that Brent had slept with someone else at our house. What if I went down earlier just to sleep? It's still thin. My head is already hot! But because coffee is my life, I still brew hot coffee, calming my raging emotions. 

While having coffee, Marian came downstairs to prepare breakfast for my son or her and Brent. It depends on whether Marian cooks a lot, but if not, it's okay. Brent knows how to cook and there are still some leftovers from last night and he can just heat them up.

“So you need to go back upstairs immediately and join Karla. Just bring snacks and come down later when Brent is awake,” I ordered Marian because I don't trust any man as long as I don't know him.
